Occasionally while working, I would need to interrupt and explain some aspects of the assignment in more detail. Here is an example. I sometimes didn't wait long enough to make sure I had everyone's attention, but I feel that I became better at that in later lessons.
These students wanted to have their art displayed, so here it is.
After they had their art designs we moved on to making the "sand art" using glue, salt, and food coloring.
